Refund Policy

Payments for Verbault are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") as our Merchant of Record. Refunds are issued through Paddle in accordance with this policy. This policy supplements, and does not limit, any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
1. Subscriptions (Pro and Max)
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period; it then stops renewing. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period once that period has begun.
If you are charged and have not meaningfully used the paid features, you may request a full refund of your most recent payment within 14 days of that charge. We review such requests in good faith.
2. Translation Credit Packs
One-time translation-credit packs are consumable digital goods. Unused credit packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Once credits have been used, the consumed portion is non-refundable, because the underlying third-party translation cost has already been incurred.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email genuinescript@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, including your order or receipt reference from Paddle. We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Paddle; the time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
4. Statutory Rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with a statutory withdrawal or "cooling-off" period for digital purchases, those rights apply. Note that for digital content and consumable credits supplied immediately with your consent, the statutory withdrawal right may end once supply or consumption begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This policy does not affect any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of the Republic of Korea or your home jurisdiction.
